One of the highlights of our Memorial Day weekend at the cabin is taking the kids to this fun farmyard where they can see some animals and play on the giant slide. They will talk about this trip until we go next year….
Daddy thought it would be really funny to put a cone on this one’s head.
The girls thought it was so funny that this goat could climb up to this house over our heads.
It was a great weekend with family.
Well Mike had his shoulder surgery a week and a half ago and thankfully he is is doing very well. Good news for him is that now that he is off the pain meds he can drink again and better yet, the sling has a perfect spot to hold his beer.
Sometimes I like to give Emma the camera and see things from her perspective. I asked her to take photos of things she likes. Here was the work from the other day….
The girls had another great trip to the dentist. Both the dentist and her assistant were so impressed with how cooperative the girls were.
Best part was hearing they are still in the no cavity club. Good job girls.
The girls love to be at Grandma’s house and in the spring there is so much to do!

This evening we even got to see the Momma deer in the woods. We think that she has since had her babies and are anxious to see them soon.
The girls have had a blast on Monday evenings at swimming. Emma is in a class while Norah likes to play around in the shallow area while her sister is in class.
It has been fun to watch Emma learn to swim and she has even achieved going all the way underwater! Something she was very apprehensive about for weeks.
Way to go Emma!
With this being a chilly spring Emma was getting very anxious to plant flowers. For weeks she would ask and I had to tell her it was still too chilly outside for the flowers. Finally we decided it would be alright to get the marigolds that Emma had asked for planted.
Emma has done a great job taking care of her flowers this year.
