Hockey!

Emma started skating lessons back in January and in just a few weeks went from not being able to stand on the ice to skating all on her own. She is still working on getting up by herself but last week graduated from level 1 to level 2 lessons. She was pretty proud of herself and the patch she got from her teacher.

Winter Fun

Emma and our neighbor boy Max are the best of friends. There have not been many days when we have gotten to play outside this winter but a couple weeks back Emma was having issues listening at daycare so I told her as soon as she could get a good report we would go out and build a snowman. Well it took a few days but she got a good report and below is the snowman we were able to create. For those that live in MN you know what I mean when I say that sometimes it just isn't good snowman snow so I had to work with what we had. : )

Sisters

It is moments like this that remind me how much they do love each other. Frequently I will look back at the girls and they will be holding hands.

Deep Sea Fishing in Mexico

Mike went fishing with Phil and the groomsmen while in Mexico! They had a good time as you can see. While Mike gave his fish to the deckhands to sell at the market Phil decided he couldn't part with his trophy. This will be hanging on his wall at home, much to his new wife's delight! : )

The Wedding

Here are a couple photos from the wedding. The weather didn't cooperate as much as we had hoped but thankfully during the ceremony it didn't rain.

2010

With a new year I have decided to move away from the Babysite and now update our family here. This year started off with a wonderful trip to Mexico to see Auntie Ann get married to Uncle Phil! Emma was a wonderful flower girl and Norah loved the sun and spotted every birdie. It was the trip of a lifetime. We have already decided we will be back. Emma has also started skating lessons and is doing wonderfully. We are so proud of our hockey player. Norah is getting bigger everyday and has a few words. I think that NO is the current favorite. We love our girls to pieces. Enjoy the photos from the first couple of months and come back to check on us from time to time.
